Robert Half Office Manager in Addison, Texas

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Manager in Addison, Texas. In this role, you will be expected to oversee the general administrative functions and activities of the office. Your tasks will extend to supervising administrative staff, handling office maintenance, and engaging with external vendors and service providers.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office to ensure smooth operations.

• Supervise administrative staff and assign responsibilities for optimal performance.

• Facilitate maintenance of office equipment, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.

• Provide clerical support when necessary, such as answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, and preparing documents.

• Maintain inventory of office supplies and order new supplies as needed.

• Assist with IT equipment and systems.

• Prepare and maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.

• Address employee relations issues, including work complaints or other employee concerns.

• Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers.

• Review and suggest enhancements to existing training programs to meet changing needs. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services

• Understanding of Accounting Functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Prior experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role is desirable

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High level of discretion and judgement in handling confidential information

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
