Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a General Laborer, responsible for loading and unloading materials and products into and out of trailers, primarily moving items from container to waste bins. This role involves climbing into trailers and containers, maintaining a clean and organized yard and work area, and assisting technicians as needed. You will spend approximately 75% of your time in the yard and 25% inside trailers, handling heavy lifting, and ensuring the tools and equipment are well-organized and maintained.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily outdoors in a yard and occasionally inside trailers at a modular construction office manufacturing and refurbishing site. The role is fast-paced and requires a proactive and energetic approach with a team of over six people. It includes a 15-minute morning meeting followed by continuous activity throughout the day. The company provides a family-friendly atmosphere under the supervision of experienced staff. Safety gear is provided, and specific dress code guidelines are in place to ensure safety and comfort.
