Blue Origin LLC Manager, Engines Avionics HW Test Engineering in Seattle, Washington

In this role, you will lead a team responsible for qualification and acceptance testing of avionics electronic hardware that controls all rocket engines at Blue Origin. Collaborating with the Engines Design Office, you'll establish technical standards and share best practices across Blue Engines programs to improve testing processes. You'll ensure the quality of your team's work, troubleshoot failures, implement corrective actions, and develop relevant metrics. Additionally, you will oversee the employee lifecycle, resource allocation, and contribute to safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is essential! Qualifications B.S. degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. 8+ years of prior relevant experience in electronic hardware design and testing inclusive of qualification and acceptance test. 2+ years of demonstrated ability to effectively guide and support technical teams, foster collaboration, and play a leadership role in achieving project objectives. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Master's Degree (M.S.) or higherin computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field Familiarity with avionics hardware product design and development life cycle including requirement development, detailed design, integration, and qualification (e.g. DO-160, MIL-STD 461, MIL-STD-810) Familiarity with analog/digital circuit architecture and design including typical avionics interfaces 2+ years of demonstrated experience in leading direct reporting team members and indirect/matrixed program team members Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $2136,620-$191,268 Other site ranges may differ Inclusivity Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
