Robert Half is seeking an experience Accountant with expertise in Account Payables!

As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing our accounts payable process with precision and accuracy. You will ensure that all invoices are processed efficiently, vendors are paid on time, and financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and timely, matching them with purchase orders and receiving reports.

• Verify and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a proactive and timely manner.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.

• Maintain organized electronic and physical records of invoices, payments, and related documentation.

• Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounts payable processes and implement efficiency improvements.

• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed to support the finance team and company objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting role, preferably in a technology company or fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with excellent organizational skills.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a deadline-driven environment.

• Understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

• Experience with process improvement initiatives is a plus.
